Big news!

Nathan and I have some big, exciting news!!!

So awhile back I mentioned that after many job interviews, Nathan accepted a job in Detroit, Michigan. It is a company called ATR and it is contracted about by Ford. He will be a Technical Service Engineer, and will be helping techs solve problems on Ford vehicles. Ever since we got the job offer, back in the end of February, we have been waiting to hear back for a start date! They told us it could be anytime from June-August. It has been a very long wait but we FINALLY heard back from them last Friday! Nathan will be starting his new job on JUNE 17th!! We will be moving all the way out to Michigan at the beginning June! So we've got about a month to find a place to live, back up our home, sell anything we don't want to take, find someone to take over the last couple months of our lease and move! It will be a crazy month, but we are excited! Excited for the new adventures ahead of us!!

Nathan and I weren't sure if we would be here in Rigby through the summer or not, but Rigby Lake is just down the road from us, and we bought some fun things to be ready for fun days out at the lake! Sad now that we wont really have any days out there anymore, but we are moving really close to Lake Erie, so hopefully we will be able to put them to use!!

So that's our big news!! Moving to Michigan in a month and a half! Wish us luck!

Nathan's a College Graduate!

This last weekend was a pretty fun and exciting weekend! Friday night Nathan graduated BYUI with his Bachelors in Automotive Technology and a Minor in Welding and Fabrication! With a 3.7 GPA! He has worked very hard to get to this point and I couldn't be more proud of him!!

Nathan's brother Ben came up from Provo and also his parents came down from Washington for it his graduation! We went to the Commencement that night in the BYUI center and watched all the graduates walk in and then heard from President Clark and The Presiding Bishop, Bishop Stevenson. After the Commencement was over we headed over to the Taylor Building for the Convocation. It was great to be there and hear Nathan's name being read and watching him walk over to receive his "Diploma".... or as one of the professors called it, the coveted diploma holder! It was a long night, but it was fun and way good to have some family there to spend it with!!

The weather wasn't very cooperative that weekend. Super, crazy windy and freak hail storms and way freezing!!! But we still found ways to have a good time! The guys spent the morning out in the garage helping Nathan finish up my bike that he was rebuilding!

Nathan's dad brought his new Pistol and really wanted to shoot it, so even tho it was crazy windy and freezing outside we went out past R mountain and each shot a couple rounds! After that we met up with my sister Shantay and her family and went to Big Judd's for dinner!! Good ole Idaho food! Huge hamburgers and homemade fries! So so yummy! It was great spending time with family for the weekend and catching up!

Our company all left the next morning... it was a short but fun weekend!

Here is the before and after of my new and improved bike!! I love it!

March Madness...w/o the basketball!

So quite a bit has happened since the last time I wrote! March and April always seem to be busy months!

After Nathan's birthday, I spent a good week spring cleaning our apartment. Going through everything, reorganizing, making donating piles, throw away piles, etc. I was able to donate quite a bit of stuff and throw away lots too! It definitely helped de-clutter our apartment! Our second bedroom is finally functional! And we finally put pictures in picture frames and put pictures on our walls and shelves! Took me long enough! Haha!

On March 29th, Nathan and I celebrated our 6 month anniversary! I can't believe it's been 6 months since I was sealed to that wonderful man! That day was so perfect! :D

Then the next day we had some friends over to dye some Easter eggs and eat cake for my birthday! We had quite the variety of decorated eggs when we were done!

Nathan made me a paper mache bunny and got me flowers for my birthday/Easter!

My birthday landed on Easter this year, so after we went to church we headed over to my sisters house to celebrate Easter and my birthday with her family! It was warm and sunny that day, so we took my niece and nephew over to the park across the street and let them play while the "Easter Bunny" came to their house.  We had lots of fun with the kids! Watching Titan go down the slide and Zaylie show off her mad monkey bar skills!

After the park we went back to their house and the kids had fun looking at their Easter baskets and going on an Easter egg hunt! After they found all the eggs, we went back inside and had Easter/birthday dinner! Then we opened presents and had yummy homemade birthday cake that my sister, Shantay made!

That next week Nathan was super busy with school. It was the last week before finals, so he had a ton of projects and assignments due. After his crazy, busy week of non-stop school work, we decided to go down to Salt Lake City for General Conference that weekend! It was a very nice getaway! We left Friday night after work and got to our hotel around 9:30ish. We enjoyed just relaxing that night and having no homework or anything else to worry about or do. The next morning we got up early and headed down to SLC with Nathan's brother Ben for General Conference. Ben was able to get us all some tickets for the first session!! We were so excited that we were able to get into the Conference Center for a session. Such a special spirit is in there! It was great to be there and to be on Temple Square and to watch and listen to the Prophet and Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all day! It was a wonderful, spiritual and uplifting weekend!

Nathan graduates from BYUI this Friday, which is very exciting! Then maybe life will slow down a little?! Probably not, but oh well! We are enjoying it and having a great time! =)
