I can't believe one year ago, I married my best friend and we started our happily ever after together!
We have had such a fun and adventure filled year together! In one year we have traveled to Washington twice, Boise Idaho, Utah (a number of times), Atlanta Georgia (I went there twice), Vermillion South Dakota, drove through Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. We celebrated 'our firsts' major holidays and birthdays together. Nathan graduated from college and got his first 'real' job out of college. And we packed up all our stuff and moved to Michigan! It has been a busy one, but oh so fun! I have loved every minute of it!
So since our anniversary was on Sunday this year, we decided to really celebrate it on Saturday so we could go out and do things! Saturday morning, Nathan got up super early, way before I was awake, and came home with 4 bouquets of flowers! One bouquet he picked and the other three he got at a store. I love ALL of my flowers, so fun to have so many! The big vase of flowers consists of three bouquets and then there are the roses!! OH and he also got me CHOCOLATE!! (my favorite candy bars!)
This bouquet was from a couple of my piano students mom! We had to move their lessons to Saturday morning that week... when she came to pick them up she had gotten me flowers for our anniversary! So sweet!
We spent the rest of the day just having fun and being together! Nathan has been working really long hours with his new job lately, so during the week we don't get to spend a lot of time together, so it was nice to have a whole day to just play around and be with each other!
For most of the afternoon we went to this cute little town called Plymouth. We walked around the square and looked at all the fun scarecrows they had set up, and also walked around looking at all the different shops around the town. While doing that we found a frozen yogurt shop... FINALLY!! I have been missing my frozen yogurt... I used to eat A LOT of frozen yogurt back in Idaho, and we hadn't found a good shop since we moved here. But we found one and it was SO delicious! :) I was a very happy girl!
After Plymouth, we went back to our apartment complex and went down to this little pond that is behind our place. We found it about a month ago and ever since then Nathan has been wanting to go back and catch some of craw dads he saw in there. So in the pond he went! He was having so much fun catching them! We didn't keep any of them... after he caught about 6 he decided to put them all back. He now wants to go back with a craw dad catcher and get a lot more! haha!
We then ordered our favorite pizza for dinner and rented a movie and had a stay-in date night! It was such a wonderful day and I just loved being able to spend it all with my hubby!!
Happy one year anniversary to US! :)
