A few weekends ago The Henry Ford Museum was charging only $5.00 for admission! So we decided to check another thing on our "Things to do and see in Michigan" list!
We love our Rootbeer!!
This is the Presidential car that President Kennedy was assassinated in.
They also had the chair that President Lincoln was assassinated in. Also, they had President George Washington's cot and belongings he took when we was out in the battle field. So crazy!
We were blown away at all the history thats inside that museum!! SO so neat!
This the THE bus that Rosa Parks was on when she refused to give up her seat. You can sit in the very spot she did! Pretty neat.
Our favorite part of the whole museum was probably when we got to help put a Model T together!
After the museum we went for a little drive and stopped to look at the Detroit River!
We only stayed out there for a few minutes, before we were frozen and had to get back inside the car!!
That's Canada behind us!! SO cool!! ;)
All in all, it was a fun, spur of the moment day date! We had a great time and got to crossed some things off of our list while out here in Michigan! :)
