Happy Thanksgiving!

We woke up to snow on Thanksgiving morning.. and I was oh so happy about it! I made Nathan hurry and get ready and go outside and take some pictures with me! haha!! :) So we had a little Thanksgiving photo shoot in the snow (its not a ton of snow.. I know..but hey its something!)

Nathan, being his genius and creative self, came up with a way to take our pictures, by ourselves, from afar! He screwed an old phone case onto a wooden golf driver. Then we got apps on our phones that allows us to have one phone be our lens and the other be the button! So he would hold the golf club out, with his phone on it, and we could see what the picture would look like on my phone and then I could push the button on my phone and take the picture! Pretty fabulous! :)

Our little family of Subaru's!

The rest of the morning was spent making pies, my dads yummy sweet potatoes, and rolls!
We made one cookies 'n' cream pie, and two pumpkin pies! One was made from our own pumpkin puree that I made, and the other was made from libby's pumpkin. (We wanted to compare) They both were super yummy! Some of the best pumpkin pies I've ever had! :)

In the afternoon we headed over to our friends house for a big Thanksgiving dinner with them and some other friends. We had so much food and it all was so delicious! It was great to be able to spend it with some good friends here, since we couldn't be with family this year.

Our friends little boy was having so much fun with Nathan that day! It was cute to see them playing together! :)

Nathan and I have SO much to be thankful for! We have truly been so blessed! Nathan has a good job that supports us, and he is succeeding really well at it. We have a home that keeps us warm and safe from outside. We have been able to go out and see places and enjoy ourselves while out here in Michigan. We have wonderful families who we are able to "hangout" with them often (thanks to technology!) and keep updated with all of them. We are an aunt and uncle to some pretty dang cute and awesome nieces and nephews! And most importantly we have the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives! Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ has blessed our lives in so many ways!

We are so grateful for our wonderful lives and of course for all of you! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!
