2015 has definitely started off with a bang for the Nathan and I!
As some of you might have already heard, Nathan and I are moving to Florida!! Nathan has accepted a job with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) as a Technical Advisor! (So basically he will be over a certain region and provide technical support to Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and Fiat Dealers on hard to fix vehicles and much more.) Nathan will be going through lots of training for the next couple of months (going back and forth from Orlando and Michigan, to North Carolina and other places that will have training classes available). Towards the end of training they will assign us to a certain region, (he could either be over the South Florida region or the Orlando region).
I flew down with Nathan to spend the first two weeks of his training in Orlando, and then while he is up in Michigan and other various places, I'll most likely be going back and forth to Atlanta and stay with my parents. Once Nathan is all done with training, then we will head back up to our home in Michigan, pack it all up and officially move down to Florida! Until then.. we are nomads staying in extended stay hotels and enjoying living on expense reports! ;)
We definitely are LOVING being here in Orlando! The weather is fantastic and we are surrounded by Disney parks, Sea World and Harry Potter World!! AHH :D :D
We also got to meet up with some good friends on one of our first nights here! Nathan has an old roommate who lives here, and another who was in town with his wife's family for vacation. It was a wonderful reunion!! :)
Because this job was with a "competitor" and amongst lots of other craziness that was going on with our lives, we kept things pretty hush hush until we knew more details about it all. Which, of course, wasn't until we were in Idaho for Christmas and all of a sudden we had less than a week to make all of our travel plans, etc. But everything has worked out and we couldn't be more grateful! We truly are meant to make this change and move down to Florida and we are so excited to see what adventures it will bring!! :)
Stay tuned.....
