My time in Atlanta this summer with my family was most fabulous! We definitely missed Nathan and my brother-in-law Archie though.. it wasn't the same without them. :( But it was SO great to see my family again! It had been a year since I'd seen most of them, and that is just way too long! Especially with my niece and nephew (Zaylie and Titan)... that is way too long to go without seeing them.. they are growing up too fast!! I got the BEST welcome from those two kiddos when I got to my parents house. Titan saw me and came running up and gave me the biggest hug! And Zaylie followed! OH how that made my day! Best feeling ever! Being an aunt really is the greatest.. I just love it! :)
The next day after we all finally arrived we loaded up the cars and headed to Savannah, GA for a couple of days!
Our first stop once we arrived in Savannah was Paula Deen's restaurant and store.. of course! Us Hahn's love Paula Deen!
Then we headed to Tybee Island where our condo was at to check in and go see the beach!
Beach time!! Zay and Ti absolutely LOVED it! They were having so much fun! It was very hard to get them to leave! Haha
Titan was having a blast jumping over the waves! And Zaylie was a little fish, swimming out in the Ocean with uncle Jason!
But not a fan of how the ocean tasted! ;)
One of Shantay's best friends came along with us... She is now officially a Hahn, whether she likes it or not! ;) We love you Jess!
A crazy creature that kept getting washed up onto the shore
We spent the whole next day at the beach, swimming and building sandcastles and just having a fabulous time!
I think the beach wiped everyone out! Taking quick naps before we headed out to dinner in Savannah.
We had dinner at the coolest place ever! The Pirates House. It was built in 1733. It's one of the most historic places in Savannah. We ate in the house that is right next to it, which is now connected to the restaurant, is the oldest house in the state of Georgia! Pirates back in the 1700's would come to this place to eat and share stories and what not. There are even tunnels underground that they would use!
Oh and did I mention.. the food was AMAZING!!!
One of the tunnel entrances.
After dinner we walked around downtown Savannah for a bit and explored!
Zaylie really wanted to see the sunrise on the beach while we were there, so early the next morning my dad, Zaylie and I got up and walked down to the beach and had a fun time together watching the sunrise!
Before we headed back to Atlanta we stopped in Savannah for the day to have breakfast and then do a bus tour and learn all the neat history of all the buildings!
The Pirates House again
We were all wiped out by the time we got back to my parents house! It was a busy, yet super fun couple of days in Savannah and Tybee Island
They were all so tired that even a kiddie show had them all intrigued! hehe!! ;)
The next day we spent a good chunk out at the pool, swimming and eating pizza and having a grand ole time! Then for dinner we went to a yummy BBQ joint and then headed to the Stone Mountain Laser Show!!
Sister car!
I loved watching these two interact with each other. They really are the best of friends now and it's so cute!!
You can't have a Hahn reunion without dads amazing breakfasts! So yummy!!
The weekend we were there was the 150th anniversary for the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain. My parents live just down the street from where it all happened! So we went there one day and saw cannons and guns go off and learned a TON of history! So so neat!
This little bug was Shantay's little buddy (unknown to her)... good thing she didn't find out it was on her until we swiped it off.. or he might not have made it out alive! ;)
These guys are the real deal when it comes to history buffs! They are the ones in those history movie reenactments! Pretty neat meeting and talking with them!
This is where they camped all weekend.
Teaching us what all that went down right here... 150 years ago.
The beginning of a tunnel that was getting built during the battle.
Clinking their coca-cola bottles!
Titan had to clink every time he took a drink! SO funny!
Campfire and s'mores in Mema and Papa's backyard!
You also can't have a Hahn reunion without grandma's chocolate cake and homemade carmel icing!!
These two snuggled up together and watched a movie! SO sweet!
Snuggling with their mom!

Uncle Jason's turn!
Zaylie and Titan found my box of old beanie babies! They had so much fun playing with all of them while they were at Mema and Papa's house! They favored two kitties! I let them take them home with them if they promised to take good care of them!
At the airport.. getting ready for all of us to head back to our homes. It was sad, because I was the only one on a different flight.. since I now life north and not west. Zaylie had a hard time understanding that. It was so hard to leave all of them!
I love this little lady so much! I can't believe how much she has grown up!
What a great Hahn family reunion it was! It would have been even better if we had Archie and Nathan there with us! Next time!! Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later!
